Arts Alive

Season performances, art exhibits and art openings during the 2021-2022 season, the organization presented two live shows with national talent. Approximately 375 patrons attended. The visual Arts committee presents art exhibits in the exhibition space of the auditorium that coincide with the performances. See the attachment for more details.

Missoula drama camp the organization hosted the missoula drama camp in august. Local children rehearsed a play for a week. At the end of the week, 60 campers presented the play twice to the general public.

Children's Arts camp Arts Alive sponsored a summer Arts camp offering classes in visual Arts, music, dance, computer Arts, photography and more. All classes are taught by local artists and art teachers. 150 campers participated.

Annual reception the annual reception was hosted to show appreciation to patrons for their support. A few food boxes were sold.

Art workshops art workshops were offered to adults and older students to give them an opportunity to learn art techniques at affordable prices. They are taught by artists from the Virginia museum of fine Arts or by local artists.

Donations and scholarships a donation was made during the year to the west point public schools and one to a local church. Arts Alive offers 2 scholarships each year to graduating high school students who wish to earn a major or minor in the Arts. Payments for scholarships fell outside of this fiscal year.
