Program areas at Artreach St Croix
Serving artists of all mediums - Artreach provides support to artists at all stages of their profession, including fiscal agency services, promotion, referral, artist opportunities, newsletters and an active website that promotes upcoming events, and class/workshop listings. 160 members comprised of artists and art enthusiasts.
Building strategic alliances - Artreach works with over 35 other organizations to carry out programming, offer peer learning, building on a regional visibility project, Artreach continues to promote the arts and work toward making the St. Croix valley a nationally-recognized destination for the arts.
Building audiences for the arts - Artreach hosts, presents or partners in events and programming that reach valley residents and visitors throughout the year. Many programs and events are free or low cost, reaching an underserved, semi-rural community. We actively promote the arts to the entire region through publicity, stcroixsplash.org, e-newsletters, social media, and through cross-sector partnerships.
Creating a center for the arts - in 2001 Artreach purchased a 4200 sq foot building downtown stillwater. During 2008 the building was renovated for public use and Artreach moved in during 2009. The building offers gallery space, meeting rooms, studios, shared artist resources, offices and offers the community a "home for the arts".
