The Arouet Foundation empowers formerly incarcerated women through a modern, innovative, second chance movement. The Arouet Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that focuses on helping women both pre and post release from prison by emphasizing career readiness, career placement and community connections. We also provide comprehensive wrap around services including access to health, wellness, community, education, financial readiness, housing and other community resources. We also host various events throughout the year, such as the Fair Chance Employment Symposium, which provides invaluable guidance about Fair Chance hiring practices from corporate leaders and policymakers that all businesses should be aware of becoming successful Fair Chance employers. Other events include reentry simulations, storytelling events, community activities and classes, job fairs, and employment fairs and holiday events.
