Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association (AzLTA)

The Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association continues to grow their membership to advance the mission of the industry. Through our work, the workforce has grown to support over 400,000 industry professionals in Arizona. We analyzed over 1,629 bills--200 of which directly impacted the Tourism industry. During the legislative session, we worked to advance legislation to establish a state planet, modernization of liquor statutes, defeat measures that would eliminate the states right to work status and have advanced measures to address employer protections and worker advancements. The Association additionally supported efforts at the Arizona corporation commission to ensure fair and reasonable rates for ratepayers and businesses alike. The Association also introduced the first Arizona industry specific job hum, azhospitalitycareers.com, which is a one stop shop for industry employers to list open positions and for individuals to apply and learn about the various career paths in our industry.
