Program areas at Arizona Helping Hands

All of our programs are established to fill our mission of providing basic essential needs for boys and girls throughout the state of Arizona in the foster care system. Our primary program is providing children with a safe place to sleep. During ye63019 we provided 2,520 twin beds and 872 cribs to boys and girls. Other programs include 3,150 personalized birthday packages, 307 bicycles, 143 footlockers to give children in group home settings a secure place to store their most valued personal items, 3,122 backpacks filled with school supplies and 17,197 children provided with holiday toys. Our home safety licensing program relieved the burden of state requirements for passing a home inspection for 932 families.
