1.aoa conferred with approximately 24 landowners who were in consideration for 1) a donated conservation easement, and 2) a purchase easement or fee- property purchase involving clean Ohio and/or oepa grant funds. 2.aoa completed the negotiation and purchase of 557 acres of land located within the counties of franklin, hocking, pickaway, and vinton through various competitive grant application programs, including clean Ohio open space, ohioepa wrrsp and state of Ohio h2ohio programs. 3.aoa now has a total of 6,264 acres in 66 conservation easements and 7,668 acres in 93 fee properties. Total acres managed by aoa in 2022 is 15,012 acres

Education: 1.aoa offered 18 field trips to show case areas preserved by aoa and provided email announcements to publicize these field trips. These events are free and open to the public. Approximately 720 persons were able to enjoy these outdoor events. In addition, the organization conducted over a dozen invasive removal work days whereby volunteers learned how important it is to control destructive, non-native plants. 2.aoa's executive director attended the land trust Alliance's national land trust conference in september 2022. 3.aoa staff participated in both regular statewide affiliated colt meetings and environmental professional network meetings sponsored by the Ohio state university.
