Program areas at Anthrocon
Anthrocon conducted its annual art show in which artists are provided with space to display their work, along with the option to take part in consignment sales. All artwork is expected to be relevant to the overall theme of anthropomorphic (that is, cartoon) animals.
Anthrocon sponsored a river cruise intended both to allow its costumed performers an opportunity to display their talents to a larger public audience, and to offer attendees an opportunity to experience the sights of Anthrocon's host city of Pittsburgh.
Anthrocon hosted a luncheon for its sponsor-level attendees to show appreciation and to encourage future sponsorship. Guest speakers were on hand at the luncheon in order to provided for both entertainment and informational discussions. The per-person ticket cost for the luncheon (excluding taxes and surcharges) was included in the registration fee for the sponsor levels.
