ACT leaders continued the work to create a new movement for people struggling to find jobs as they return from incarceration or face employment barriers. This movement, called Turnaround Thursday, will support individuals with soft skills training, case management, and connection to employment opportunities. A team from ACT identified a strong community partner to receive the public funds that ACT raised for this movement and created a partnership structure between the two organizations and the County government. Act worked with the partner organization to identify, hire, and train qualified staff to begin the Turnaround movement.
