The Animals in Distress Association is a non-profit organization committed to the preservation of native wildlife through rehabilitation and education. AIDA provides care and medical treatment for injured, displaced or orphaned wildlife. AIDA's facility, The Ruth Melichar Bird Center (RMBC), handles over 2500 waterfowl and songbirds. The Bird Center is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year including holidays.
