Leadership programs - the leadership lufkin program focuses on the identification and development of existing and potential leaders in Angelina County while the leadership tomorrow program allows high school students to learn about opportunities in the community and find ways that they can give back to the community. During 2024, there were 25 participants in two classes of leadership lufkin and 58 participants in two classes of leadership tomorrow. Over the years, the leadership lufkin program has had over 823 graduates. During 2024, there were 6 participants in the leading edge program. Twenty-six participants have completed the leading edge program since its inception in 2021. The leading edge program prepares professionals for community engagement and leadership through service on nonprofit boards.
