Program areas at Andrew J Young Foundation

The Andrew J. Young Foundation continued to work on its mission to improve life, health and well being of humanity through programs and initiatives created to assist challenged communities. High impact sustainable solutions are difficult to achieve in one generation. However, they need to be started now for the future generations to benefit from them. These projects have come from real global shortage of protein, flooding of the Mississippi river and maritime issues our country faces today. We are undertaking these projects to help feed and empower 8.5 billion people expected by 2030. Andrew J. Young Foundation is a community based 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity that has been built upon civil rights leader Andrew Young's philosophy of non-violent change and a belief that unto whom much is given, much is required.
The many lives of Andrew Young tells the inspiring, dramatic story of civil rights hero, congressman, ambassador, mayor, and american icon Andrew Young. Featuring hundreds of full-color photographs that capture the extraordinary life and times of Andrew Young and a captivating narrative by acclaimed atlanta journal-constitution race reporter ernie suggs, filled with personal accounts from Andrew Young himself, the many lives of Andrew Young is both a tribute to and an essential chronicle of the life of a man whose activism and service changed the face of america and whose work continues to reverberate around the world today.
