To improve the lives of pets and people through service, education and advocacy. Anderson Animal Shelter is dedicated to the welfare of companion animals and their human caregivers.

Program areas at Anderson Animal Shelter

Animal Shelter care for approximately 4,100 homeless pets each year, providing medical and behavioral care as well as adoption services. Also humane education is provided to more than 5,000 school aged children annually both in the Shelter and throughout the community.
