The jacob & rosaline cohn scholarship fund the technion is committed to ensuring that capable students from all backgrounds have the opportunity to develop their talents and enjoy upward mobility. Need-based scholarships enable students from underserved communities and low-income households to attend the technion, earn undergraduate degrees and go on to rewarding careers.

The joan and irwin jacobs technion-cornell institute a partnership between cornell university and the technion-israel institute of technology, the jacobs technion-cornell institute is a key component of cornell tech, the world-class applied sciences campus that opened on new york city's roosevelt island in fall 2017. The jacobs institute is delivering a new kind of multidisciplinary education and research, dedicated to producing engineers, scientists and technology experts with real-world entrepreneurial experience. Students enrolled in the two-year master of science (m.s.) In information systems program earn dual master's degrees concurrently-one from cornell and one from the technion-in connective media and health tech. Faculty, postdoctoral associates and graduate students pursue basic and applied research, in collaboration with industry partners. THE ANDREW AND ERNA VITERBI FACULTY OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING The project enjoys a worldwide reputation for leadership in key areas of communications, electronics and computer engineering. The department has extensive relationships with the high-tech industry, and its liaison program includes over 30 member companies. It is the largest engineering department in Israel, with more than 2,000 students, and is consistently ranked among the worlds top 10 electrical and computer engineering departments. Faculties continue to receive prestigious awards recognizing their research achievements. SUPPORT FROM THE GRANT ENABLES THE FACULTY TO INCREASE ITS GRADUATE STUDENT BODY, RECRUIT FIRST-RATE FACULTY MEMBERS, EXPAND ITS RESEARCH ACTIVITIES, AND UPGRADE TEACHING AND RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE.
