Program areas at ASSE
Membership Services - Provides various services to the ASSP's approximately 36,000 members and communities. This includes developing and offering member educational events, providing networking and knowledge sharing opportunities, offering volunteer training and leadership development, recognizing member contributions, and providing administrative support required to retain and grow the ASSP Membership community.
Annual Professional Development Conference - ASSP's annual conference delivers a wide range of educational sessions and a vendor exposition to highlight current information, best practices, technologies, and services to help occupational safety and health professionals improve workplace safety and organizational performance.
Professional Safety is the journal of the American Society of Safety Professionals. Published monthly, includes peer-reviewed articles and other content that informs professional occupational safety and health specialist about the latest developments in safety research, technology and industry best practices related to topics such as incident prevention, risk assessment, hazard control, safety management and worker well-being. The journal is included in member dues.
Educational Services - provide publications pertaining to specific technical areas of safety.
