American Society of Emergency Radiology

The purpose of the American Society of Emergency Radiology (aser) is to advance and impvrove the radiologic aspects of Emergency patient care; to establish Emergency Radiology as an area of speical interest in the field of diagnostic imaging, including sequencing, prioritizatgion and managemetn of the delivery of imaging services; to develop educational curricula in Emergency Radiology for both medical students and residents; to provide, through an annual scienctific meeting, a mechanism for presenation of scientific information on various aspects of Emergency readiology and continuing educlatin; to promote reserach in Emergency Radiology by clinical and basic science investigators, includeing residents and other trainees; to act as the resource body in Emergency Radiology for those interested in emergencyy patient care; to foster the developmetn of Emergency Radiology in other nations and/or regions around the world; and to develeop and recommend standards fo care in Emergency Radiology.
