Program areas at ASPMN
The annual conference allows members to have an opportunity to hear leading authorities address current topics of interest to nurses involved in Pain Management. Attendees receive continuing education hours for education programs.
Aspmn has a variety of materials available for sale to assist individuals in preparing to take the Pain Management Nursing exam offered in conjunction with the American nurses credentialing center (ancc). Those materials include power points, syllabus, audio files and slide booklets, blackboard web-based interaction, practice-test booklets, icon online core syllabus, self paced video files, practice-test booklets, online core curriculum textbook, and study guides.
Aspmn publishes a peer review journal, Pain Management Nursing, offering a unique focus on the realm of Pain Management as it applies to Nursing. Original and review articles from experts in the field offering key insights in the area of clinical practice, advocacy education, administration and research as well as practice guidelines and pharmacology updates.
