Program areas at American Legion Post 449
The organization's mission is to provide community support through events that are open to the community.
Sponsor and participate in the memorial day parade and service following the parade. The Legion, auxiliary, sons of the American Legion and the American Legion riders all participate in this tribute to our fallen service men and women.
Community support that includes sponsoring children's programs. These events are open to the community at no cost. The number of children that attend each of these events ranges from 90 - 130.
Community support of various activities including, but not limited to boy scouts of america, young marines, little league and other various organizations.
