American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC)

Member services-the organization affords the opportunity for members to meet and share ideas and information on providing quality Engineering and land surveying services to their clients. The organization holds various membership meetings throughout the year. Additionally, the organization holds various continuing education seminars in order for members to maintain their licensing requirements. The organization also diseminates important information to its members on current affairs and legislation that may affect its members.the organization's hallmark is the annual Engineering excellence awards (eea) program. Eea recognizes enginnering achievements that demostrates the highest degree of skill and ingenuity among its members. Eea's goal is to convey to the general public and other interested parties the contributions member firms make to the environment, their community and around the world through exceptional enginnering design. Eea awards are presented at an annual awards dinner. Member firms total approximately 250 with affiliated membership of approximately 40 firms.
