American Association of University Women Seattle advances gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. Program areas at American Association of University Women Seattle

College scholarships the branch awarded tuition scholarships to six college students, in financial need, who attend wa public universities or b.a.s. Programs at the three Seattle district colleges. The scholarship awards are intended to enable the students to continue their studies and earn their bachelors degrees. ($30,000)
Tech trek the branch sponsored 8 incoming 8th grade girls to attend a week-long stem camp held on a college campus. The objective is to expose girls to the wide variety of potential career fields which will utilize their education in these areas, as well as to give them a leg up on their studies.
Stem scholar recognition the branch honored 37 high school junior Women from 13 schools for their achievements in math, science and technology with the objective of encouraging them to continue their stem studies as they move on to college and careers.
Aauw greatest needs fund the branch contributed from its own funds to the aauw greatest needs fund, which allows aauw to respond rapidly, in its communications and advocacy, to critical issues affecting Women as they emerge.
