Program areas at AATB

Conferences- meetings sponsored and hosted by aatb for the purpose of sharing industry information and educating Association 2017, three meetings were held: qdsw workshop, annual meeting, and the emerging leaders workshop. The annual meeting is the primary meeting at which exhibit booths were sold.

Communication and marketing - includes expenses related to the development of the new ams - Association management system (membership database), cms - content management system (web site functionality), and solicitation of sponsors and exhibitors for the annual meeting (as well as other meetings where applicable). Also included in expenses are meetings at which aatb hosts an exhibit booth of its own. Membership dues revenue is recorded here as well.

Tissue bank inspection - inspection of potential member Tissue Banks for the purpose of becoming accredited, as well as re-accreditation of current member Banks when they reach the end of their 3 year cycle. Also included in the revenue for this program is the application fees, which are collected when any Banks applies for accreditation or re-accreditation.aatb ended the year with 126 accredited institutions.
