Program areas at American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists
Membership - aaplog was founded in 1973 and grew quickly in recent years, more than tripling its membership, now numbering over 7,000. We provide networking opportunities for members and mentorship for students, as well as vigorous defense of our members conscience rights.
Education - our organization develops practice guidelines and committee opinions guiding best practices for medical care for our patients and their preborn children. In addition, aaplog serves as a resource for expert opinion to policymakers, lawmakers and the courts. Our multidisciplinary annual educational meeting provides another opportunity for networking and professional growth.
Research - aaplog produces peerreviewed research on the effects of abortion on women and supports research at academic institutions.
