INVESTIGATING: release of three groundbreaking reports, whose research is foundational for AMCHA's advocacy efforts, including: "Academic Extremism: How a Faculty Network Fuels Campus Unrest and Antisemitic Violence," which highlights the astonishing role Faculty for Justice in Palestine (FJP), a nationwide network of over 100 faculty chapters, plays in escalating antisemitic incidents, fomenting chaos and pushing forward the academic boycott of Israel; "Academic Agitators: The Role of Anti-Zionist Faculty Activism in Escalating Antisemitism at the University of California After October 7, 2023," which details a staggering increase of 1100% in anti-Zionist advocacy and activism by UC faculty since Hamas' October 7th attack; and "Anti-Zionist Advocacy and Activism of the Critical Race and Ethnic Studies Department at University of California Santa Cruz," which provides extensive evidence that faculty in the academic department considered ground zero for the highly politicized, "critical" version of the ethnic studies discipline at the University of California are using their department's name and University resources to promote propaganda and activism to undermine and ultimately dismantle the Jewish state in violation of University policy and California law;DOCUMENTING: crucial, on-going, real-time documentation in our publicly accessible database of antisemitic incidents on over 700 U.S. campuses, which saw unprecedented amounts of antisemitic activity during this grant period, with physical assaults on Jewish students surging by 2500% and violent threats, including death threats, rising by 900%;EDUCATING: disseminating AMCHA's analyses and approaches to combating campus antisemitism, with AMCHA data used in lawsuits, legislative documents, and other organization's reports, as well as rally support for AMCHA's efforts through hundreds of articles and interviews in dozens of outlets and on social media, numerous targeted op-eds, and 12 bulletins;COMBATING: sustained grassroots, coalitions and media campaigns that advanced AMCHAs three core advocacy initiatives: 1) Com batting the adoption of antisemitic ethnic studies curricula in California high schools seeking to implement the state-mandated ethnic studies graduation requirement; 2) Com batting the implementation of academic boycotts of Israel on U.S. campuses; and 3) Efforts to ensure all public and private colleges and universities adopt policies that afford equal and adequate protection for Jewish and Zionist students on their campus.
