Program areas at Altrusa International of Richardson Foundation
Six schaolarships totaling 13,000 were paid to Richardson independent school district students.
Altrusa donated childrens games and toys, clothing, linens, and childrens backpacks to local non-profits, materials to make sanitary supply kits for girls in africa through days for girls, books and a visit with the author at all risd elementary schools, books for choose kind libraries at elementary schools, gifts to residents of ability house, a group home operated by ability connection and a kindness event benefiting local animal shelters donating animal supplies to the shelters. These projects served over 2000 people.
Altrusa provided grants to 11 local non-profits totaling 12,000 and donations to teachaiti and helps International for childhood education, alzheimers association, Richardson human society, furry friends of Richardson Inc., take me home pet rescue, going home a rescue transport Inc., upbring and Altrusa International Foundation and donated money to 10 first year teachers for school supplies.
