Program areas at Altamont Program

The industries Program provides the Program participants hands-on experience during their vocational training.
The employment services contranct is based on the schulyer inn shelter allowing them into better assist families on temporary assistance by providing direct access to their Program.
The transitional living Program provides housing and shelter to very low income individuals.
The organization has contracted with the new york state department of education and the albany county department of social services to provide on-the-job training to eligible individuals. Program participants are provided training in the culinary arts, housekeeping, and hotel management in conjunction with the industries Program. From time to time, the organization initiates new programs on a trial basis, which, if successful, are developed into fully operational programs.
