Program areas at Alpha Phi - Beta Epsilon Chapter - Arizona
The Organizations exempt purpose includes renting a facility that provides housingfor some resident members and provides meeting facilities for all members. Theexperience of members living together and meeting together provides them withopportunities to support each others endeavors and work together as a team. TheOrganization also provides a full meal plan to resident members when school is insession and provides a limited meal plan to non resident members when school is insession. The experience of sharing meals teaches social skills, promotes bondsbetween members and encourages continued membership in the Organization.
All members participate in formal recruitment training and formal recruitment thattakes place over a number of days. As a result of their efforts 144 members joinedthe Organization. Participation in recruitment activities promotes bonds betweenmembers and teaches valuable interviewing and social skills.
The Organization put on an event to encourage donations to the Alpha Phi Foundation. The event was attended by all members, family members and alumni members. The event facilitated social interaction between the attendees and encouraged continued membership with the Organization.
