Program areas at Aloha Theatre
The organization produces live community Theatre for west Hawaii, covering all genres from classic dramas to modern musicals. Volunteer cast and crew hail from communities as far north as waimea and as far south as naalehu. This talented and dedicated group performs more than 50 shows each year, attracting more than 11,000 patrons.
The organization owns and operates the Aloha Theatre to ensure that there is a viable space for the Performing Arts in west Hawaii. Ongoing improvements aim to provide a positive experience for all patrons and the best possible theatrical infrastructure for performers.
The organization conducts a Performing Arts education program called create. The program provides courses for ages 4 to 94+, in subjects such as acting, movement, improv, music, and more.
