Program areas at ATEAMS

A total of 233 educators in Math, Science, cybersecurity, and career technical Education (cte) in middle school and high school submitted applications to attend our in-person externship sessions.the educators work in independent school districts and in various charter schools.a total of 149 educators from 20 districts in the alamo region participated in the 4-day educator externship professional development. There were 21 stem related industries in the san antonio and new braunfels area that hosted our educators for a half day of learning. The educators then spent the other half of their day working with our Education service center connecting that knowledge to their teaching objectives by developing a lesson plan or presentation to use in the 2024-2025 school year reaching an average of 150 students per educator.
