Public affairs, advocacy, and communications: global public affairs (gpa) is an alignment of market readiness, preparation and conditioning strategies (pre-commercial) in the united states and europe that is complementary to the reimbursement and regulatory needs of our member organizations, and ultimately achieving patient access to our innovations. The function is also the steward of arm's brand and reputation. Tactically, gpa provides comprehensive, centralized, and consistent support on key Alliance initiatives and objectives and engages with stakeholders to continue to sustain legitimacy by safeguarding arm's image and reputation in a hostile political and regulatory environment.
Science and technology: to develop consensus product development, regulatory standards, and provide more efficient access to industry best-practices regarding manufacturing and scale-up.
Events: to convene both arm members and non-members to promote commercial, ethical, scientific, and government affairs exchange surrounding the cell and gene therapy sector.
To facilitate the pairing of interns with member companies and provide programming for the interns.
