All Souls Counseling Center (ASCC) provides quality mental health counseling to uninsured and underinsured residents of WNC. By the numbers: Fiscal Year 20-21 People provided mental health counseling: 291 Counseling sessions provided: 2,941 Calls received about services: 906 Pro bono therapist and psychiatric services value: $156,290 Percentage of new clients uninsured: 77% Percentage of clients earning less than $25,000: 56% Percentage of counseling seessions provided for $25 or less: 85%
ASCC also placed therapists onsite at The Church of the Advocate, an outreach program that supports individuals experiencing homelessness-most of whom are unable to access services elsewhere.
Our 20 plus licensed therapists provide a hybrid model of remote and in-person sessions to individuals, couples,families and groups: quickly adapting to the needs of our clients. Counseling issues addressed include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, addiction recovery, grief and loss, gender identity, stress management domestic violence and much more.
