Program areas at Alden B and Vada B Dow Creativity Foundation
To continue to preserve the architectural records of Alden B. Dow and to properly process, organize and store these records for public access.
Maintenance and preservation of the Alden B. Dow home and studio, including renovation of the first drafting room, painting, and other interior and exterior maintenance.
To provide educational services by assisting architectural researchers and students by conducting tours of the Alden B. Dow home and studio.
The Foundation collects a nominal fee to help defray the cost of providing architectural tours of the Alden B. Dow home and studio. Providing tours is in fulfillment of one of its purposes under 501 (c) (3); to encourage the study and appreciation of the work and philosophy of the architect, Alden B. Dow.
The Foundation provides educational merchandise and souvenirs for purchase in the museum gift shop. Proceeds are reported as other income and help defray the costs of maintaining the home and studio.
