Cataloguing and maintaining the Al Held art collection and organizing, expanding, and refining the Held archive and research materials for public and scholarly research and exhibition.

The licensing of reproductions of Al Held's art and/or publication of Al Held's artwork furthers the Foundation's exempt purpose of providing access to the art works of Al Held to the public and scholars for research and educating the public about the art of Al Held and art in general.
