Air Twiga Animal Rescue

The organization pulled up to 25 dogs from facilities that required intensive and expensive medical care which other rescues could not manage. Most rescues pull the young and healthy dogs. Most of these pitbulls as they comprise 90% of shelter dogs. Therefore, the old and sick dogs are overlooked in favor of dogs which are more easily adopted. Military service dogs are still helped when the need is presented. Air Twiga worked with ten different veterinary clinics for animals in need of medical, surgical, routine and dental care. Air Twiga also worked along side boarding kennel/ operators and an Animal behavior specialist.
