Program areas at Aiken Senior Life Services
Transportation - this program provides the elderly and disabled of Aiken county with access to group dining to one of our six meal sites, shopping, errands, medical appointments, etc. This service enables them to remain independent and provides for transit opportunities when their health or financial restraints prevent them from being able to travel to desired destinations to maintain their independence and quality of Life.
Home delivered meals - this program provides the seniors of Aiken county that may be homebound with nutritional meals 5-7 days per week. Many of the clients are unable to prepare a simple meal or lack that support of family/friends to assist with their daily needs this program provides the infrastructure to extend the time seniors are able to remain independent in their homes without the expense and burden of being institutionalized.
Congregate meals - this program provides the seniors of Aiken county with a group dining setting that provides activities, educational presentations, camaraderie, wellness activities and a hot 1/3 rda noon time meal.
