Advocates and staff of the Advocacy & Resource cetner provide emotional support and empowerment to all victims of violent crimes. Advocates assist with emergency shelter, food, transportation, and other necessities. The advocates support victims through the criminal justice process, obtaining protection orders, communicating with law enforcement and with prosecutors. They also staff a 24 hour crisis line to provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and safety planning to victims of violent crime.
