Adopt A Golden Knoxville's mission is to rescue Golden Retrievers from shelters and owners who can no longer care for them, providing necessary veterinary care and placing them in foster homes until they are adopted by new owners. In 2022, the organization rescued approximately 93 dogs, many of which were saved from high kill shelters or surrendered by individuals. Some dogs were even purchased off sites such as Craigslist and given vet care, including surgery if not spayed or neutered.
