Supportive housing services:supportive housing projects place and support people experiencing homelessness into permanent housing with direct supports to assist them in maintaining housing stability. While in housing our staff provides residents with housing retention focused case management, helping them understand their lease and how to be good tenants. Additionally we work with households to increase their self sufficiency, job training skills, and access health and other public benefits so that they are able to gain the skills necessary to prevent any return to homelessness. Services are provided in sites that are both owned by Abode, Abode affiliate organizations, and other developers without any ownership connection to Abode.

Shelter and outreach services:provides Services to people currently experiencing homelessness in an outreach setting or within our emergency homeless shelter. Services include engagement with people living on the streets, connections to benefits and housing. While in the shelter, people are provided with meals three times a day, intensive case management, life skills training, job counseling, and other support to enable successful transition to more stable housing and greater independence. Shelter and outreach Services primarily preformed in southern alameda county.
