Program areas at A Precious Child
Precious essentials provides clothing, coats, shoes, food, toiletries, home goods, and other essentials to children and their families struggling with poverty or emergency situations through our main resource center and 37 satellite resource centers across the denver metro area. In 2020, A value of over $8.9 million in essentials were provided to over 77,000 local residents in need.
Basics 4 babies provides basic necessities such as diapers, wipes, and baby gear to families with infants who would otherwise ration these products or go without. The program also provides access to bright by three kits as A means of positively impacting early literacy skills, development, health, and safety of the children. In 2020, basics 4 babies provided diapers, wipes,formula, and other baby essentials to 8,972 infants and toddlers in need.
Fill A backpack program provides backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies to children in need to maximize their academic potential. In 2020, fill A backpack provided backpacks to 21,768 children in need.
