Powerback, is A teen dating abuse prevention initiative that reaches high school students, faculty, counseling staff, parents, guardians, and caregivers. We provided 89 outreach presentations reaching 3,153 high school students in nj.
Dv-sos (domestic violence - support on site) provides outreach presentations (and crisis intervention, if needed) to social service agency staff and clients. Conducted 75 webinars reaching 1,056 social service agency personnel in nj; 43% of whom identified as victims of domestic violence . We also provided 35 counseling sessions to victims of ipv.
Prep (police response enhancement program) is A program that provides victim-impact training for law enforcement professionals and conducted 15 classes reaching 245 police officers from 64 departments in 14 counties in new jersey.
Data (dating abuse training & assistance) provides training for school counselors on how to effectively respond to teen victims on campus. Conducted 9 webinars reaching 207 school counselors from 87 schools in 16 counties in new jersey.ipva (intimate partner violence advocate) certification series is A six-part series presented annually; it provides continuing education credits for social workers, licensed professional counselors and advocates in the field of domestic violence. We provided 5 webinars; 31 social work professionals attended one or more classes with 14 attending the entire series and receiving the certification.fee-paid programs: we provided 10 presentations reaching more than 200 social service personnel. Pro bono presentations we conducted 4 presentations reaching more than 100 community members.
