40 Days for Life's mission is to educate, equip, and train local communities to pray and fast, do community outreach, and hold peaceful vigils to offer loving alternatives to pregnant women. The campaign support team provides local volunteer vigil leaders with training, mentoring, coaching, tools, legal support, and encouragement necessary to conduct a 40 Days for Life campaign in union with their community. Program areas at 40 Days for Life

Education40 Days for Life advances its mission to end abortion through the distribution of print and digital media, including books, a free quarterly print magazine, a weekly podcast, a blog, an email newsletter, and videos. These media educate pro-lifers by providing news and information designed to help end abortion peacefully, lawfully, and prayerfully where they live.
Leader, Recruitment and SupportLocal vigil leaders can attend an annual leader conference to network, learn from peers, receive advanced training, experience inspirational speaker presentations, and interact with the headquarters team. In addition to this leader conference, in-person leader training workshops are held regionally. These opportunities are designed to renew, appreciate, and support the local campaign leaders and their core team members. With over 1,000,000 vigil participants annually, the grassroots campaign leaders are the heart of the mission.
Campaigns, Projects and Promotions40 Days for Life's campaign support team provides local volunteer vigil leaders with the training, mentoring, coaching, tools, legal support, and encouragement necessary to conduct a 40 Days for Life campaign in union with hundreds of cities worldwide each spring and/or fall. 40 Days for Life provides campaign leaders with material support and merchandise, including apparel, signage, promotional items, and literature. Furthermore, 40 Days for Life provides online tools and templates, which include a local campaign webpage and scheduling tool, online training modules, press releases, logos, public service announcements, and more. Volunteer leaders and vigil participants are recruited through the strategic participation in various pro-life events and conferences.
