Program areas at 20 Liters
Between July 2023 and June 2024, we continued our work in Rwanda, Africa. In the sectors of Rukumberi, Kagogo and Jarama, we reached at least 27,649 people with access to clean water. We provided household filter systems to 1,427 families, built and distributed 3 community filters to schools and health clinics, constructed 15 rainwater harvesting systems at local churches and installed 415 slow sand filters. Our volunteers in Rwanda also provided community health and hygiene training to 412 members of the community.Filter builders, event coordinators and leadership volunteers totalled 230 individuals who provided 647 hours of service.
