1040 Connections

Developing leaders - 10/4104040 Connections provides relevant and practical theological instruction which inpacts the whole person and the whole community. Our ummeed project developed 1,370 leaders through 36 seminars in multiple states of india. In another nation, with 9 teachers and 23 classes,our literacy programs helped 120+ people learn to read and write. For those who want to understand more about how to have a clean heart and not just do good deeds, we are happy to share some good news. While most religions attempt to help people become better people or please god, we have found that jesus christ actually makes it possible. After he lived a perfect life without one wrong word, deed, thought, or motive, jesus allowed himself to die on the cross to pay the penalty for the wrong things people do. Three days later the resurrection of jesus showed that he had power over death, and that people need not live in fear. Jesus offers forgiveness.

Disaster relief - 10/4104040 Connections meets the physical needs of those in desparate situations. In 2022, due to the pandemic and a series of floods, we offered emergency food packets in india and pakistan for thousands of families. We supplied food regardless of religious background. The people who received food includied: widows, migrants, refugees, slum areas in urban communiities, and entire rural villages.

Health initiatives - 10/4104040 Connections work to provide whole-life change, hope, and protection to at-risk people, particularly women and children, through expanding their access to clean water and health education. We installed seven hygiene systems in villages, helping over 2,000 people with safety and clean water. Over 2,200 families participated in our voice for the voiceless seminars, which speaks up for the most vulnerable children - the pre-born. We hosted 7 cataract clinics which gave sight to 112 people and treated 280 patients. We continued a daily school for 60+ children in a village that previously had zero access to education. We funded educational expenses, including nursing school for 17 girls rescued from abusive situations.
