Forgotten Harvest rescues and delivers prepared and perishable surplus food from health department approved establishments to more than 200 soup kitchens, food pantries and other community partners across the metropolitan detroit area at no cost to them. This year, a total of 40,715,574 pounds was rescued and delivered, free of charge.
