Faculty practice - faculty practice Albany Medical Center operates a clinical practice activity (patient care) for the faculty of the Albany Medical college. 2022 experienced over 700,000 patient visits.
Albany Medical Center hospital and affiliates:operating and recovery room: inpatient and outpatient operating room services including open heart program, transplant services and specialized trauma services. Approximately 26,830 total cases performed with 8,219 inpatient, 2,548 same day, and 16,063 outpatient.other patient care based services: totaled approximately $90 million in expenditures. (sci): the foremost commitment of sci is to enable its affiliated entity (saratoga hospital) to provide superior quality healthcare to the people of our community regardless of their ability to pay.kidskeller: children from eight weeks to kindergarten age may enroll. Educational activities for these varied age groups follow a developmental sequence which includes age appropriate activities for the development of cognitive skills, fine and gross motor skills, social-emotional growth and activities of daily living skills.columbia memorial hospital foundation: the Organization operates to assist the columbia memorial hospital to develop, expand and fund Medical services provided to residents of columbia, greene, and northern dutchess counties, ny.kaaterskill commons, inc (kci): this Organization owns and operates a 21 unit apartment project located in catskill ny. The tenants are qualify low income elderly.saratoga regional Medical pc (srm): srm is organized and operated for the purpose of promoting health by providing Medical care to the community served by saratoga hospital. Srm provided obstetrics and gynecology services at two sites: saratoga ob/gyn t myrtle st. In saratoga springs, ny, and saratoga ob/gyn at malta in malta, ny. In march 2021, obstetrics and gynecology services offered through srm were expanded to include a Group of midwives who provided care directly through locations operated directly by saratoga hospital up to that point. The midwifery services we moved into srm in order to better align and coordinate all obstetrics gynecology services and gynecology services offered across saratoga hospital- affiliated entities. Since last year addition to the srm, obgyn located at exit 12 continue to work collaboratively with patients on Medical, surgical, and preventive care for female reproductive health. Saratoga ob/gyn providers saw nearly 32,300 patient visits for pregnancy and gynecological care during 2022. Srm also operates a nephrology site in glens falls, ny. Saratoga hospital Medical Group - nephrology at glens falls offers its patients an outstanding team of board-certified physicians, employing the most advanced diagnostic techniques to identify, develop a treatment plan, and manage kidney disease. In 2022, providers at this location saw approximately 2,700 patient visits. Lastly, in order to expand the primary care services and create a Medical home of patient centered and comprehensive services primary care saratoga was an addition to the srm. Primary care saratoga approach are to insure health is manageable to the patient, while meeting the healthcare needs through preventable, wellness , acute and chronic care. In 2022, providers location saw approximately 6,000 patient visits.healthcare partners of saratoga ltd: the foremost commitment of healthcare partners of saratoga ltd (hcp) is to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare to individuals and families in the communities it serves regardless of a patient's ability to pay. Hcp actively supports community-based healthcare and promotes the coordination of services among healthcare providers and social services organizations. In addition, hcp seeks to work collaboratively with other health care providers to improve the health status of its region. Hcp is defined as an emergent care Center, which is a cross between an urgent care Center and a hospital emergency department. Therefore, the facility accomodates a wide range of Medical needs. Hcp offers 24-hour access to emergencymedicine physicians for urgent care. These physicians are equipped to treat patients with any level of urgent care needs. Patients treated and triaged are discharged home with follow up to their primary care or specialist, thus avoiding an emergency room visit to their local hospital. During 2022, hcp accommodated approximately 43,000 urgent care visits. In addition, other services provided during the year included outpatient x-ray (19,214), ultrasound (9,628), computed tomography (10,137), magnetic resonance imaging (2,289 tests) and laboratory services (263,700 tests).
