Youth Policy Institute (ypi) served 115,000 Youth and families in los angeles, providing access to high-quality schools and wraparound education, training and technology servicesat ypi's promise neighborhood schools 15,000 students were served and high school graduation rates exceeded state levels, overcoming family poverty levels that are 50% higher than the overall state level. 71% of promise neighborhood graduates were college ready, surpassing the statewide rate of 50%.ypi's expanded learning programming provided before and after school services to 7,700 k-12 students.youthsource and worksource programs provided educational support, work experience, job placement, and other services to over 2,500 Youth and adults, including veterans.health & wellness programs reached 4,730 people living in low income households with nutrition education, access to fresh produce, and physical education workshops.financial empowerment services supported family stability with financial education and planning workshops, one on one coaching, tax return assistance, California earned income tax credit information, and access to matched savings accounts.
