Description
We Care New York aims to help New York City residents during times of crisis. We help over 1,000 lower income residents connect with resources on our website and donate new and used winter coats, clothing, bicycles, household items, furniture, and other useful items. Our efforts are supported by dozens of caring volunteers. We also provide hot meals, food, and beverages to 400 lower income residents. Additionally, in collaboration with Toys for Tots, we distributed 3,000 toys and books to residents in shelters, foster support meetings and lower income areas.
