Fashionably Business - A program where attendees learned how to run a fashion business including marketing, getting financing, writing a business plan, and designing.
Cultural Couture, a fashion and art installation curated by Andrew Nowell. The exhibition features a mixture of DC inspired fashion and art by local and international designers, artist, and photographers.
Camp Runway-Teaches a curriculum that seeks to develop creative and innovative designers who are equipped with the techniques of fine craftsmanship. Exposes participants to positive role models and mentors in the fashion/creative arts business industries. Works with students to effectively collaborate on the production of a finale fashion show for the local community. Provides the support and mentoring to help students to develop self-confidence in order to make quality decisions, improve their life skills, take responsibility for behavior, respect authority, and develop a sense of empathy for others. Supports the development of youth leadership. Provides a healthy, safe environment.
