The Memphis Suffrage Monument Equality Trailblazers is close to completion. Alan LeOuire of Nashville is the artist/sculptor. The monument has been funded by the Shelby County Commission, Memphis City Council, foundations and donations from various individuals. Unveling is set for Fall 2021. The Tennessee Woman Suffrage Heritage Trail is important for heritage tourism and educating the public about all the sites in the state that are suffrage-related. The national centennial of the 19th Amendments ratification was in 2020 and is continuing due to the pandemic. All American women vote today thanks to Tennessee.

Presentations were made throughout the year on behalf of the Memphis Equality Trailblazers monument and the Tennessee Woman Suffrage Heritage Trail. This is all focused on making the public aware of Tennessees pivotal role in the 19th Amendments ratification. All American women vote today thanks to Tennessee. Representative Joseph Hanover of Memphis was the floor leader who led the successful ratification in the state House in 1920. With the centennial celebration occurring in 2020, we published a book about him since he is an unsung hero. Hanovers story is a compelling one and this history needs to be preserved.
