VREC partnered with Green Mountain Farm to School in applying for a USDA grant to increase GMFTS programming in Vermont schools. A leader in the growing farm-to-school movement in Vermont, Green Mountain Farm-1o-School (GMFYS) missionisto restore and strengthen local food systems in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont by promoting positive economic and educational felationships among schools, farms, and communities.
