Program areas at The College Initiative
The College Initiative provides college-capable, low-income high school students with the tools and mentorship they need to successfully apply to and succeed in college. The College Initiative forms partnerships with school districts, energetic teachers, and college student volunteers to ensure that every student aspiring to go to college will have the opportunity to do so. This past year, we served over a thousand students across the mid-south. We are proud to say that 100% of our seniors were admitted to college and they collectively received $70,000,000 in scholarships.
Other Programs including Outreach.
The Arkansas program helped high school students living and attending school in the Arkansas Delta region. 100% of students were admitted to four year universities, and each senior received an average of $47,000 in scholarships.
