Program areas at The Arc Gateway

Group Homes: Adults with disabilities live in regular houses in the community. The homes provide supportive relationships, supervision and encouragement that helps people become independent and involved in the community.
Community Based Employment: Through various contracts, adults with disabilities learn job skills and earn a paycheck while providing valuable services throughout our community.
Pearl Nelson Center: Pediatric therapists and specialists provide therapy services and developmental instruction for children who have, or are at risk of, developmental disabilities. Services are implemented in a family-centered approach where parents learn strategies to help promote their child's developmental and functional life skills.
Other Program Services: Our programs deliver services directly to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities from infancy through adulthood, as well as families in need of support. Other services include adult day training, transportation, supported living services, senior adult services, academic classes for employment readiness and supported employment services.
